Kentucky bill 120 was passed in the Senate yesterday.
That’s the bill designed to legalize historical horse racing machines in Kentucky.
For over 10 years, historical horse racing machines have been a big financial benefit to the track at Ellis Park.
However, several weeks ago, the Kentucky Supreme Court ruled the machines illegal.
Henderson County Judge-Executive Brad Schneider spoke in front of the House Standing Committee on licensing, occupations and administrative regulations yesterday urging the bill be passed.
A vote from the house can come as early as this week.
