The state government complex in Indianapolis will be closed “out of an abundance of caution” Tuesday and Wednesday. A tweet from Governor Eric Holcomb says the decision comes “in light of recent national events, threats to other state capitols and COVID restrictions.” In addition, the US Postal Service has sealed off mail boxes on Washington Street, Market Street, and Senate Avenue, in the area immediately surrounding the Capitol complex.
Holcomb said he knows of no credible threats against the Statehouse.
