Perry County Sheriff has COVID-19

Perry County Sheriff Alan Malone is hospitalized with COVID-19. Chief Deputy Eric Dickinson says complications from the virus led to the need for Malone to be hospitalized. For the time being, Dickinson is overseeing the Sheriff’s Office and jail.
