Three bars on Franklin Street Bar have been shut down by Indiana Excise Police and the Health Department. A letter from the health department to Bud’s says the closure is due to violations of face covering, social distancing, and other sanitation rules. Chasers also has a sign on the door saying they have been closed by the health department, as well as Xcess.
A fourth bar has received a warning. Franklin Street Tavern was served a cease and desist order. Health officials plan to re-inspect there soon.
