Two people from Evansville were arrested on drug charges in Gibson County Monday night after being stopped for speeding. On Monday night, a state trooper pulled over a Chevy Trailblazer for speeding on US 41 near Oak Street in Fort Branch. State police say when the trooper came up to the vehicle, he smelled marijuana inside the vehicle. The driver was identified as 49-year-old Larry Morris and the passenger as 29-year-old Sarah Ellingson. While searching the vehicle authorities found a loaded handgun and a baggie containing suspected meth along with drug paraphernalia. Both arrested and taken to the Gibson County Jail where they are being held on bond.
