One person slightly injured when gun goes off in restaurant

Police say a man dropped his gun inside the Cracker Barrel Saturday morning, causing it to discharge.

A woman nearby had a minor abrasion on her leg. She refused medical treatment.

According to police, when the man went to pick up his bag, the gun hit the ground and went off. The man has a carry permit for the weapon.

EPD officials say they did not find an impact mark for the bullet.
