Help is at hand for those facing eviction amid the COVID pandemic.
The Evansville City Council is putting aside more than $750-thousand to help hose needing assistance with their rents.
Mayor Lloyd Winnecke requested the allocation, which will come from housing and urban development.
The approving vote was unanimous.
That means that the money will be available at the start of the new year.
