An Owensboro man is jailed for a stabbing incident on Tuesday.
Officers responded to the police building’s parking lot around 6pm for medical assistance.
Witnesses told police there was a confrontation between two men in a moving car that resulted in the victim being stabbed in the head several times with a knife.
The car’s driver took both combatants to the police department, but the suspect ran as police converged.
The victim, 1 39 year old man, was taken to the hospital where his injuries do not appear life threatening.
The suspect, 34 year old Xavier Boone was located and arrested.
