Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center hears from a good friend whose real name they have never known.
“Pete” called the center Monday to tell them where to find his annual gift, and workers found it on the playground fence — a Christmas tree containing thirty $100 bills.
As in years past, Pete asked that his donation be used to purchase gifts for the children who are clients of the center.
The mysterious Pete has been making his anonymous donations for 30 years and they now total nearly $100,000.
