We all have days when we feel like we’re failing as parents, but one mom is taking to TikTok to share hers. Paige posted a video of the hilarious mistake she made on her two-year-old daughter’s school picture day, which has gone viral with more than 11-million views. It seems she forgot all about it being photo day, so she didn’t put much thought into her daughter’s wardrobe choice for school.
It wasn’t until the pictures were returned to her that Paige discovered her funny faux pas. In the photo her adorable toddler is grinning at the camera wearing a T-shirt that a family friend made for the kid to match her sassy personality. The shirt reads “SASSHOLE,” but in the photo, her arm is covering the “S,” so it reads “A**HOLE!” It was an innocent mistake and at least this exhausted mama is laughing about it. In the video, she jokes, “If you ever thought you were a bad mom, at least you didn’t forget picture day and send your toddler to nursery in this.”
Other parents are laughing right there with her in the comments, one writes, “Order order order!! I’d have it hanging in the living room.” Another kid’s parent writes, “I’m sitting here planning this on purpose with my nine year old.” While most people thought it was hysterical, others criticized Paige for sending her kid to school wearing the shirt. “Why would you ever send your toddler to school with that on?,” one person whined. To which this mom cleverly responded, “Because I’m a bad parent, Karen.”
