Officials say at least 14 recent cases of COVID-19 can be traced to one particular wedding.
They were especially concerned because the people exposed were planning to get married this weekend, and refused to postpone the ceremony, even when contacted by the health department.
Mayor Winnecke called it “extremely frustrating” when people know they are positive for COVID and they congregate anyway.
The venue where the wedding was to be held DID cancel it, rather than risk exposing its staff.
