Members of the Evansville Police Department Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) squad had to use tear gas to flush out a house Friday.
Officers were attempting to serve a federal warrant issued by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms. The home was located in the 800 block of Riverside Drive, near Linwood.
Police say three people came out of the home, but the man with the warrant remained inside. After the gas was deployed, police say the man eventually came out and was arrested.
Authorities did not release the man’s name.
