A Gibson County woman pleads guilty to her part in a kidnap hoax.
Maria Hopper, Joshua Thomas and Hannah Pots reportedly cooked up a kidnap hoax plot involving having Potts go missing.
Thomas and Hopper helped hide Potts, and were uncooperative with law enforcement trying to locate her.
Maria Hopper pleaded guilty to false reporting and will perform 80- hours of community service.
She’ll spend a year in jail if she violates her probation.
