The two suspects shot by Vanderburgh County deputies in a Bonnie-and-Clyde-like caper last Friday made court appearances Wednesday.

Both were arrested near the old Dogtown tavern after a stolen pick-up truck containing items taken in Posey County burglaries became hung-up on the railroad tracks.
Ellmers fired several times at deputies, but only hit a patrol car.
