Owensboro’s director of public events says trick-or-treating will go on, but the The Trail of Treats will not be held this year.
Because of the pandemic, new guidelines will be in place.
Trick-or-treating will happen only on Halloween night from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
Trick-or-treaters should walk in groups of no more than ten, and should visit only houses with porch lights on.
And people at those houses should pass out only pre-packaged treats… nothing homemade.
