Evansville police make a shots-fired run in the 1600 block of South Linwood just before noon on Sunday.
There was bullet damage to a window and the front of a residence.
People were inside the house at the time, but no one was hurt. A
bout 40 minutes later, officer were sent to the 100 block of East Riverside Drive, also on a shots fired call. No reports of injuries there.
Investigators found shell casings at both locations.
Officers say because of the timing involved, there could be a connection between the two calls but there is no solid evidence of that right now.
