A 19 year old Evansville man is in custody charged with attempted murder.
Devontae Jones was arrested in a different matter Monday night, but was charged in the shooting on Tuesday.
Officers were sent to the 1100 block of South Lincoln Park Drive on the morning of September 4 and stop a car being driven by the shooting victim, 28 year old Thulani Fusion.
He had multiple gunshot wounds, and didn’t cooperate with police at hospital.
Police learned that the shooter and the victim had an argument at a Circle K on Weinbach, and surveillance video showed Jones as a part of the squabble.
Two witnesses claim Jones was the shooter, and he had a stolen 9mm pistol on him when he was arrested.
