Owensboro Police were dispatched to West Legion Boulevard about 9pm Friday night on a report of a stabbing.
They found that the victim, Kyle Taylor, had left the scene in a vehicle.
He was found at a residence on Bowie Trail with several stab wounds.
His injuries are potentially life threatening.
He was taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital by ambulance.
27 year old Tyler Miller is charged with assault in connection with that stabbing.
