Mayor Lloyd Winnecke has rescinded his city-wide mask executive order.
Winnecke issued the order not quite two weeks ago to encourage city residents to wear masks where social distancing is not possible.
The order could, by law, be renewed in seven-day increments as needed, and had, in fact, been renewed once.
Winnecke rescinded the order yesterday so the city would remain consistent with the broader, state-wide order issued by Governor Eric Holcomb.
Winnecke says, though, that the message is the same — wear a mask.
