Posey Sheriff Won’t Enforce Mask Mandate

Posey County sheriff Tom Latham tells his deputies not to enforce Governor Holcomb’s mask mandate.

Latham says the legislative branch, no the executive is charged with making laws.

Thus, he says, the governor’s mandating masks with a misdemeanor penalty for violation would be unconstitutional.

Attorney General Curtis Hill voiced a similar opinion earlier this week.
