A construction crew working on Wolfin Street in Mt. Vernon hit a half-inch gas line with some excavation equipment.
That caused a gas leak, bringing the Mt. Vernon Fire Department and Vectren to the scene.
No one was hurt and there were no evacuations as crews repaired the line.
