A replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., is in Evansville.
The Wall That Heals was escorted to the University of Southern Indiana’s softball field yesterday by first responders.
The escort was unforgettable for one family.
Sharon Wagner-Hocker’s brother, Richmond, left Evansville to go to Vietnam and did not come home.
His name is one of more than 58,000 on the wall.
The exhibit opens tomorrow and remains open through 2 p.m. Sunday.
It is open 24 hours a day and is free to the public.
