Henderson Police make an arrest in connection to the dog burning case at the Henderson County Fairgrounds this month.
H-P-D Detective John Nevels says officers arrested 32-year-old Bryan Matthews Jr. last (Thursday) night at his home on Zion Road.
He now faces charges of torturing a dog and third-degree arson.
Authorities say the dog had been intentionally burned alive.
Pet Food Center and PETA both offered rewards for information that totaled $10,000.
A Go Fund Me account was also set up.
