Several Henderson nonprofits have been awarded more than $80,000 in grants.
Those organizations include Chemo Buddies, Port Youth Center, and the Daniel Pitino Shelter.
Officials based the grants on non-profits that prioritize the health of Henderson County residents.
This was made possible through the Deaconess Henderson Hospital Community Program fund, which was created in 2020 after the former Methodist Health merged with Deaconess.
