An hours-long stand-off in Daviess County led to the arrest of a fugitive.
Tony Ingram had active warrants for burglary, criminal mischief, and receiving stolen property stemming from a crime spree.
Ingram allegedly stole a minivan from Evansville and then drove the van into Panther Creek.
Authorities say he then broke into a home on Wayne Bridge Road and fled when the homeowner arrived home from work.
He was later located at a home on Highway 951, but refused to surrender.
Due to Ingram’s violent past, he was believed to be armed, so assistance from the U.S. Marshals was requested.
Four and a half hours later, he surrendered without incident and was transported to jail.
