A Madisonville man is accused of scamming several bourbon buyers out of thousands.
James Willetts would post listings on Facebook Marketplace for high-end bourbon, then ship either apple juice or empty boxes.
When confronted by a UPS employee about it, Willetts allegedly told them it was a prank.
Officers found packing material, boxes, shipping stuff, as well as multiple bottles of bourbon and whiskey.
The estimated value of theft was more than $86,000.
Willetts is being held in the Hopkins County Detention Center without bond.
More arrests are possible as the investigation continues.
