METS bus service is providing free rides for kids 18 and younger this summer.
The My Summer Ride program is designed to help young people have access to summer jobs, programs, libraries, parks, and other vital community resources.
The free rides are available for any purpose, not just for school-related activities.
Passes are available for pick-up at the CK Newsome Center, METS Admin Building, and all public city pools.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Last summer, METS provided more than 15,000 free rides.
The program runs through August 7th.
