Indiana Governor Mike Braun has signed a new bill into law, aimed at increasing housing statewide.
The Bill gives local governments less say over housing development and zoning requirements.
The goal is to help developers build more houses, faster and more affordable.
It also allows specific projects to move forward without public hearings.
The law will streamline the approval process for developers and builders, eliminating red tape and allowing certain housing projects to move more quickly.
The Bill goes into effect on July 1.
