A driver is arrested following a police chase in a parking lot.
Tuesday afternoon, Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the AMC Theater after the manager reported a truck circling the building.
Upon arrival, deputies attempted to initiate a traffic stop; however, the driver refused to comply.
Stop sticks were used, striking two of the vehicle’s tires.
During the incident, the suspect struck two sheriff’s patrol vehicles.
Terry Garrett was transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
His charges include Battery with a Deadly Weapon, Criminal Recklessness, and Resisting Law Enforcement.
Additional charges are possible.
