A woman is in custody after police say she stole electricity from her neighbor.
Evansville police responded to the 2400 block of Van Bibber Avenue to speak to the victim.
She showed officers an extension cord running underneath their trailer home into Tina Milburn’s trailer.
Milburn says she crawled under her neighbor’s trailer home last Friday and plugged in the extension cord.
She allegedly claimed that she was using the electricity to power a light and planned to give the victim $100 without explaining why.
Milburn is facing burglary charges.
