Tokyo buildings shaken by magnitude 5 earthquake; no tsunami warning

TOKYO, April 1 (Reuters) – An earthquake ​of ‌magnitude 5 hit the ‌greater ​Tokyo ⁠region, authorities ⁠said on Wednesday, shaking buildings in ​the capital, ⁠but ⁠prompting ​no tsunami ​warning.

The epicentre in ‌the Ibaraki region was ⁠50 km (31 miles) deep, ⁠the Japan ‌Meteorological ⁠Agency ​added.
