A Warrick County man accused of causing a deadly crash in 2024 has been sentenced.
Deputies say Coleman Sheridan crossed the center line on State Road 68 and hit a vehicle head-on.
The driver, Kevin Aker, died at the scene.
A judge sentenced him to 18 years in prison, followed by 2 years’ probation.
The court also ordered Sheridan’s license to be suspended for twelve years and recommended that he be placed in a facility to receive substance abuse treatment.
In 2016, he hit and killed a jogger in Evansville while under the influence.
