An Evansville woman has been found guilty of neglect resulting in the death of her daughter.
12-year-old Alice Bredhold died of complications from Type 1 diabetes in 2024.
After her diagnosis, prosecutors say her parents did not follow through with helping her manage her disease.
Alice’s cause of death was a result of diabetic ketoacidosis.
Her father, Brent Bredhold, was sentenced to nine years in prison.
Ashley’s sentencing is set to take place on March 19.
