Henderson Bank To Merge With Stock Yards Bancorp

The only locally owned bank in Henderson will soon have new ownership.

Field & Main will merge with the NASDAQ company Stock Yards Bancorp.

Field & Main reported around $861 million in assets, $652 million in loans, and $781 million in deposits.

The bank was established in Henderson in 1887 under a different name.

The Raymond B. Preston family largely owned it.

Officials say the merger will be finalized in the second quarter.
