An Evansville man was taken into custody following a pursuit with law enforcement.
Monday night, a deputy spotted a vehicle that matched an earlier “Be On The Lookout”.
Deputies attempted to pull over 34-year-old Niko Moody on Diamond Avenue, but he put the pedal to the metal and fled.
He continued to drive recklessly through neighborhoods, failing to stop at multiple stop signs.
Moody eventually stopped near Joan Avenue.
He then opened his door and was observed reaching inside the vehicle.
After ignoring repeated commands to exit, Moody was tased and taken into custody.
It was later learned he was driving with a suspended license.
He told deputies he fled because he was on probation.
