Big changes are coming to Kentucky smoke shops on January 1.
All businesses that sell tobacco, nicotine, and vapor products must be licensed by the state’s Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control.
This will require unannounced compliance checks to make sure they are not selling to minors.
The new law also comes with increased fines for violations.
Indiana will see two major changes on January 1.
The Indiana Consumer Data Protection Act will grant residents new rights over their data, including the ability to prevent sensitive information from being processed without consent.
There will be stricter regulations on SNAP benefits.
Residents will no longer be able to buy candy and sugary drinks.
