The Pike Animal Welfare Shelter in Petersburg needs emergency fosters and adopters.
The shelter received significant damage to its outdoor kennels during last night’s storm.
According to their Facebook page, the animals were startled but are safe.
The facility is down 6 kennels for the time being.
The shelter is currently running an adoption special, $20 for dogs and $10 for cats.
