Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office officials have identified the 14-year-old killed in a crash in Evansville on Sunday as Alexander Hessler.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Orchard and Hillside Roads.
Hessler was transported to Deaconess Midtown Hospital, where he eventually died from his injuries.
Hessler was a student at Reitz High School.
In a statement, Reitz officials offered their sympathies and said that their crisis counseling team is on site and will remain available for as long as students and staff need support as they grieve and process this tragedy.
