A Warrick County animal cruelty hearing case has been postponed.
Shayna Burko, a 29-year-old charged with three felonies, was set to appear in court yesterday.
Her attorney says that their client has received credible death threats and is afraid for her safety.
More than 40 people were in the courtroom, including Vanderburgh Humane Society staff and volunteers.
If Burko doesn’t show up for court this morning, a warrant will be issued for her arrest.
