An Evansville mother is in the Vanderburgh County Jail without bond.
33-year-old Katy Spencer is believed to have been under the influence when she crashed into a shed on Jackson Avenue.
She claimed that she was arguing with her young child and was not paying attention.
An officer on scene reported that Spencer allegedly failed to stop at a nearby stop sign while traveling at a high rate of speed, hit a curb, went airborne, and hit the shed.
She is facing several charges, including neglect and driving under the influence.
The child was not injured.
