Evansville police arrest a man after he tried to get away on a moped.
It happened after an officer saw 38-year old Johnny Detalente driving a white moped without a license plate on E Oregon and North Garvin Streets.
The officer followed him into an alley where Detalente crashed the moped and ran.
Police caught up with him and found over $2,500 in his pocket along with fentanyl, meth and marijuana.
He’s being held now without bond in the Vanderburgh County Jail.
