Evansville police were called to Fulton Avenue and Columbia early this morning on a report of a man in the middle of the road.
EPD tells WIKY News officers found a man in a wheel chair in the middle of Fulton Avenue near the Dollar General Store.
He had a head wound and was taken to the hospital. Social media reports say the man had been shot, but medical personnel say they don’t think that’s true.
Police are still trying to find out what happened.
