To staff and his adoptive family, he was simply Ty.
He became known around the world as a very large orange kitty who learned to swim to lose some much-needed weight.
Thicken Nugget had an affinity for shoes and riding in his stroller.
VHS says they are proud of their team for paving the path that was paved for feline lifesaving.
Ty’s story is a testament to the work they do every single day at the shelter.
