The LST-325 recently returned to Evansville’s riverfront.
The World War II ship went on a month-long fall cruise, making stops at port cities along the river system.
The voyage is made to educate people on the history of the ship, as well as to raise money to preserve it.
Officials claim the ship returned with around half a million dollars from this latest voyage.
Next year, the LST will host the Historical Naval Ships Association Symposium, inviting people from all over the country.
