A Hazeleton man is dead after his vehicle was hit by a train.
It happened yesterday (Tuesday) morning about 8:30.
The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office says 43-year-old Shane Jones did not come to a compete stop on Mill Street, and pulled into the path of the train.
Jones was the only person in the vehicle.
Deputies say alcohol and drugs do not appear to have been a factor in the accident.
