One person is dead following a shooting in downtown Evansville.
Emergency crews were called to the 800 block of East Cherry Street just before 4:00 Thursday afternoon for a person shot in the head.
It was discovered that the victim was accidentally shot by a juvenile who thought that the gun was unloaded.
They were arrested for reckless homicide and dangerous possession of a firearm.
No names have been released at this time.
