Ongoing road construction has forced an Evansville restaurant to cut its hours.
For the first time in 40 years, the Stockwell Inn will be closed on Saturdays, and the kitchen will close at 9:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Owner Audrey Christie says she has been dealing with the road construction in front of her building since January.
Christie has had to make tough decisions since finding out that construction won’t be completed until October.
It has decreased her business by up to 70%.
She says that when and if the road ever opens, they will hopefully return to their normal business hours.
