Evansville police spotted a man they knew had an active warrant and tried to arrest him.
37-year-old Scotty Devers was seen at the Marathon gas station on North Fulton Avenue.
He was leaving the gas station when a police unit blocked his path.
At first, he complied with officers’ instructions, but then he took off in his car.
Other officers observed Devers driving at a high speed and running stop signs and lights.
He was later found at Maryland and 6th and arrested.
