One Tri-State county is being recognized for its high level of severe weather preparedness.
The National Weather Service has designated Warrick County as Storm Ready.
Warrick County Emergency Management received that designation in a ceremony on Tuesday.
Counties have to apply and meet several criteria to receive the title.
That includes establishing a 24-hour warning point and having several ways of warning residents.
