A naked Madisonville man, allegedly high on psychedelic mushrooms, is facing a list of charges after assaulting a police officer during a domestic situation.
Officers say that as they were attempting to place 49-year-old Robert Grigsby into cuffs, he resisted and tried to grab one of the officers’ handguns.
While pinned to the ground, he tried to grab the officer’s taser.
He then began to kick, scream, spit, and threaten to kill them.
Grigsby was found with several needles, and a large bag of meth.
He was booked into the Hopkins County Jail.
